Dear user, here we have our latest new feature release called Container restoring to the previous stage which allows you to revert the container milestones restored back to their previous stage in the system.
As we know that in the system there are multiple milestones recorded for the container from Factory gate in till loaded on vessel and sometimes the user performs certain actions but wants to go back and revert the stage, previously this was not possible to change in the system but now with this new feature the user can revert without any hassle, which increases your work frequency and not to get in to support again and again.
Note: User can always revert one container at a time.
The restore functionality is given in all the listed below reports for the user to perform when needed:
1. While Transporter service has given into the customer order then How to perform an action for the container to previous stage “Pickup Pending” from “Factory Gate In Pending”?
Steps:
1. Go to the “Gate In Pending” report screen
2. Apply filter or select the container you wish to restore to the previous stage and in the actions column find the ‘Restore’ button.
3. Click on the ‘Restore’ button and a popup message will show you specific information related to the selected container, note the changes which will happen on performing the revert action. Once you click on the ‘Restore’ button, the container will get restored in the previous stage as you needed. Here the container will be moved back to the Pickup Pending stage.
Note: If JOB is created for a selected container then, the system will not move back to the Pickup Pending stage and the system will give the validation message while clicking on the Restore button.
2. While Transporter service is not given into the customer order then How to perform an action for the container to previous stage “Pickup Pending” from “Factory Gate In Pending”?
Steps:
1. Go to the “Gate In Pending” report screen
2. Apply filter or select the container you wish to restore to the previous stage and in the actions column find the ‘Restore’ button.
3. Click on the ‘Restore’ button and a popup message will show you specific information related to the selected container, note the changes which will happen on performing the revert action. Once you click on the ‘Restore’ button, the container will get restored in the previous stage as you needed. Here the container will be moved back to the Pickup Pending stage.
Note: If JOB is created for a selected container then, the system will not move back to the Pickup Pending stage and the system will give the validation message while clicking on the Restore button.
3. How to perform an action for Container to the previous stage as “Stuffed” from “POL Gate in Pending”?
Steps:
1. Go to the “Gate In Pending” report screen
2. Apply filter or select the container you wish to restore to the previous stage and in the actions column find the ‘Restore’ button.
3. Click on the ‘Restore’ button and a popup message will show you specific information related to the selected container, note the changes which will happen on performing the revert action. Once you click on the ‘Restore’ button, the container will get restored in the previous stage as you needed. Here the container will be moved back to the stuffed stage.
4. Find the reverted container in the “Stuffing Pending’ report screen.
4. How to perform an action for Container to the previous stage as “POL Gate In Pending” from “POL Gated In”?
Steps:
1. Go to the “Loading Pending” report screen
2. Apply filter or select the container you wish to restore to the previous stage and in the actions column find the ‘Restore’ button.
3. Click on the ‘Restore’ button and a popup message will show you specific information related to the selected container, note the changes which will happen on performing the revert action. Once you click on the ‘Restore’ button, the container will get restored in the previous stage as you needed. Here the container will be moved back to the POL Gate In Pending stage.
4. Find the reverted container in the “Gate In Pending’ report screen.
5. How to perform an action for Container to previous stage “POL Gated In” from “Loaded”?
Steps:
1. Go to the “Active Containers” report screen
2. Apply filter or select the container you wish to restore to the previous stage and in the actions column find the ‘Restore’ button.
3. Click on the ‘Restore’ button and a popup message will show you specific information related to the selected container, note the changes which will happen on performing the revert action. Once you click on the ‘Restore’ button, the container will get restored in the previous stage as you needed. Here the container will be moved back to the POL Gated In stage.
4. Find the reverted container in the “Loading Pending’ report screen.
